I had a similar situation. I purchase a used 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan.
The battery was 1 1/2 years old. It went dead and we recharged it. Lasted a month and then died again. This time we called triple AAA and they tested and charged it and was told that it was cranking on 25 of the 790 amps needed.
Went to Auto zone and because we were not the original purchasers they would not honor the 60 month warranty.
So consequently I had to buy a new battery at the tune of $216.00 and it was another Duralast as that was the only brand available at the time for my car and I needed to get home.. So I am one pissed off broad..
Reason of review: Warranty issue.
Monetary Loss: $216.
Preferred solution: Price reduction.
AutoZone Cons: Battery scam, Didnt warranty the battery.
