for years I have gone to auto zone for my parts, and when they came out with the reward points it felt like they wanted to reward loyal costomers. But twice now I have gotten my 5 points and did not need any more parts , and when I did , I was told my points had expired . If I don't need parts , how can I use my points. Well maybe my LOYALTY has just expired!!!! TIME to look at Advance Auto Parts.

They want you to come in and buy $25 worth of air freshners, candy bars, and whatever check out challenge item they have for that month. Its their way of getting you to spend money on stuff, even if you don't need it. Those rewards used to not have an expiration date.

Oh god, you're going to get the same treatment at any place you frequent. Most of the warranty's are quite clear in how they work.

If your battery is lasting only 8 months at a time, you likely have some other underlying problem causing this short battery life situation. Most consumers who frequent the auto parts houses are there because they cannot afford the services of a mechanic at a shop.

By implying that the battery's you buy are junk, and not giving consideration to potential underlying problems (ones that most DIYer's are not able to figure out), you are being unfair to the employees who are likely trying to advise you to have your system checked out. Most consumers think they know EVERYTHING about how their systems on their cars work, and quite frankly, these same consumers don't know even 1% of how their car functions with all the intricate moving and electrical parts.

Lack of respect for employees by general manager. | AutoZone review

Details
I have witnessed abuse of employees and store manager by the general manager of the Berryville Ave, Winchester, Va store. A brand new store was verbally abused by this so called general manager. Instead of mentoring or teaching he uses abusive language and threats. It so bad in this store that a number of employees want to leave. This store use to be a store where you got great service and had knowledgeable employees but because of this narcissistic manager you hardly see anyone in this store. It's a shame to see this happening.
