Rebate SCAM | AutoZone review

Details
I purchased an item that they were offering mail in rebate. I filled all the paper work and submitted it. A few weeks later they said it was approved. Then I get nothing. I checked website and it says shipped 10/30 it is now 12/11 and nothing was ever received. It seems they post phony shipped dates to show they a sending rebate ,but they never send anything.

Details
4 BAD alternators in less than 14 months. Ford dealer mechanic says vehicle is in pristine condition,electrically. "quote" Quit trying to save a buck with reman parts that cost a fortune to replace in labor(500 bucks) and buy a NEW part and be done with it!". (you cheapskate!)

I bought a new Auto Zone Battery January of 2019. Battery lasted 6 mos . Battery went bad I took it back to store where I bought it . 90 day warranty ok. So I bought a new battery full price . The new battery lasted 1 month . I decided not to even try to deal with Auto Zone for another battery . I ate the cost approximately 80-90 dollars . I bought a new battery somewhere else 138.00 . I got stranded twice . It was an expensive lesson . Funny thing is battery will test good but not take a charge both batteries tested low after charging . I just tested my charging system all looks good . I will do some additional tests just in case . I have no problem with people who work for Auto Zone always helpful. I would blame this on upper management purchasing low quality stock in order to increase profit .

Returned an item and treated poorly | AutoZone review

I purchased a car part on 6/9/19 from the Norwalk store. I got home and realized I purchased the wrong part. I work in San Clemente and decided to return it the next day after work. A sale associate asked if I needed help and I told him why I was there. He immediately looked at the part and told me it looks used. I said that’s impossible since I just purchased it the day before. He retrieved one from his stock and the two were identical. He then said relay switches we usually don’t allow returns on which I quickly showed him it doesn’t say that on the receipt. He was rude and kept insinuating that I was being shady. I was embarrassed since other customers were there. I’ll never shop at that store again.

Special ordered a fuel filter from the the flushing autozone, 2 days later I go to pick it up, the box top is missing, the clips are missing, 1 st words from the manager are, it came in that way and its not my fault. then he procedes to tell me I have 2 options, I can take it as is or get a refund, of course I took the refund, hard to want to buy product from a neighborhood parts store when you get treated like this, PEP boys is in bayside not that far, never treated like that there

I work at AutoZone and management is full of *** I have told them to their faces that they lie to employees to much. In Douglas GA, the manager will not promote from within and made it very clear. He told me I had to many point but when he is informed that the point system for that store is all screwed up and employees got point for no reason he said that he knows but it has nothing to do with him.
