I am a full time manager at autozone. I'm the only full time manager besides the store manager and the commercial manager at my horribly understaffed store in ky.

i have an automotive college degree, years of management experience, ase certs, & i make what walmart starts employees at & I have been turned down for a raise 3 times. I am regularly blamed by the store manager for anything the red shirts or part time managers "do wrong" even though most of them have been managers longer than me. (sometimes I'm blamed for things that happen when i'm not even there). We are threatened on a daily basis to be written up if we don't convince a certain number of people to sign up for rewards cards even if they don't want it.

I don't make enough to pay my bills and had to take on a second job not working a combined 65-70 hours a week. the autozone store manager constantly schedules me over top of my other job (even though he knows my schedule in advance for the other job). he does this because we are understaffed and he won't hire anyone. He has stated that autozone should come first to me & i should mae sacrifices at my other job for autozone because that's what being an autozoner takes.

lol it is saturday & he just now finished the schedule for the week that starts TOMORROW and, shockingly, he scheduled me over top of my other job. So it looks like I won't even be able to put in a 2 week notice & will be a "no call-no show" this week.

Reason of review: Work Experience or Job Application.

NO, don't be a no call no show. You already told him about your other job and hopefully the hours.

If he doesn't want to work with you then tell him you will have to leave. Courtesy still carries some weight in the corporate world, even though you supervisor may not understand it.

Talk to your District Manager and express your concerns to him since your local team obviously lacks concern or commitment for your advancement.

I understand where they are coming from for being short handed and not permitted to hire anyone, but if you are as good as you say you are then you hold the cards. They need you for your commitment and knowledge, even though you get blamed for others mistakes perhaps you should tell him better to get blamed for doing something wrong as opposed to doing nothing.

I agree with the above poster, albeit I am no expert in grammar, your style of writing and spelling leads a lot to be desired since you have a college degree and a management background.

Good luck with your endeavor and I hope it works out for you as they will be losing in the long run, not you.

Sounds typical.

Sorry to have to say that, but I've heard similar stories many times.

You were right to continue your education ; that will help in the long run.

Please also find a course in remedial English because there are run-on sentences, misspellings, improper syntax, punctuation and capitalization problems, etc. in your complaint which makes it very difficult to read.
