I'VE WORKED FOR AUTOZONE FOR BARELY OVER A YEAR, MY YEARLY REVIEW CAME UP AND GOT A WHOPPING 40 CENTS MORE PER HOUR! NEVER MISSED A DAY OF WORK NOR WAS I LATE WITHOUT INFORMING THEM THAT I WOULD BE!

I HAVE MANY YEARS OF AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE INCLUDING BUILDING MY OWN CLASSIC MUSCLE CARS! I WAS IN A BRAND NEW STORE WITH A FIRST TIME MANAGER AND COMMERCIAL MANAGER! THEY WER BOTH GREEN AS *** AND REALLY HAD NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! I WAS A COMMERCIAL DRIVER THEREFORE MY LITTLE MANAGER KEPT SAYING I'M YOUR BOSS WHICH RUBBED ME THE WRONG WAY FROM DAY ONE!

THAT LITTLE *** KEPT SAYING YOU'RE A RED SHIRT, SEE THIS, I'M A GREY SHIRT! I'M 64 YEARS YOUNG AND RETIRED TWICE AND ONLY WENT TO WORK THERE BECAUSE IT WAS AROUND 5 MINUTES FROM MY HOUSE AND I WAS BORED FROM BEING IN LOCKDOWN DURING THE "MANDEMIC" LOL! WHEN I WASN'T DOING DELIVERIES TO COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS, I WAS TOLD I HAD TO HELP AT THE COUNTERS WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE, *** I SPENT MORE TIME WAITING ON CUSTOMERS THAT PEOPLE THAT WERE SUPPOSE TO BE! MY STORE MAGR JESSICA HIRED THIS CHICK WITHOUT ANY EXPERIENCE AND PAID HER A DOLLAR MORE THAT WHAT I WAS HIRED!

GAVE HER MORE BECAUSE SHE WAS ONE OF OUR ACCOUNTS DAUGHTER, GO FIGURE! YOU LEAD BY EXAMPLE, SO HERE WE GO, JESSICA AKA STORE MGR WAS ALWAYS ON HER PHONE MONITORING HER CAMERAS AT HER HOUSE TO WATCH HER CHILD AND LAZY *** HUSBAND, THEREFORE EVERYONE OF HER CHOSEN PET EMPLOYEES FOLLOWED HER LEAD! SHE WAS ONE LAZY *** CHICK AND SO WAS MY COMMERCIAL MGR! THAT LITTLE PUNK ONLY HAD THAT JOB BECAUSE DADDY KNEW PEOPLE IN COOPORATE!

ANYWAY AUTOZONE IS A TOTAL JOKE AND YES THEY DO PUSH YOU TO DO PRESSURE SALES TO CUSTOMERS FOR OTHER PRODUCTS! THE STORE MGR JESSICA MADE THE WORK ENVIROMENT VERY TOXIC! SHE WOULD GET HER LITTLE PETS TOGETHER AND GOSSIP ABOUT OTHER EMPLOYEES AND SOONER OR LATER THEY WOULD QUIT WITHOUT NOTICE! 4 EMPLOYEES WITHIN THE PAST TWO WEEKS HAVE QUIT, INCLUDING MYSELF AS OF THIS MORNING AS I'M MAKING THIS POST!

I REPORTED THINGS TO MY STORE MGR, MY DISTRICT MGR AND THEY LABELED ME A PROBLEM BECAUSE I WANTED TO SEE THE PEOPLE EMPLOYEES TREATED BETTER ALONG WITH THE CUSTOMERS! IF THEY DIDN'T WANT TO WAIT ON A PARTICULAR CUSTOMER, THEY WOULD PUSH THEM OF ON ANOTHER EMPLOYEE, THIS ALSO INCLUDED COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS!

ALL MY MGRS AND DISTRICT MRG WOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT WERE THEIR YEARLY BONUSES! ANYWAY I'M AWAY FROM THAT CRAP HOLE AND I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE CONSIDERING WORKING AT THAT COMPANY THAT YOU'D BE BETTER OFF FLIPPING BURGERS, IT FOR SURE PAYS MORE!

One of your shops sold me a old battery and cost me Out Off packet money

I went in to the shop I told him I needed the battery Because my Car would not start without a jump , they sold me a battery I took it home and installed it And the car still did not start So I took it To a electrical shop To find out what the problem was Because I Had just replaced The starter and alternator the year before And changed all of my Battery cables. The shop Conducted a test on my car And found the problem was in my battery Is 6 2019 battery battery

I ordered a part online and it said next day delivery so I prepaid for my mechanic to be here long story short part was not going to be delivered till the following day all is I wanted to do was pick up the part at my local store but I would have had to pay for it then when the part arrived at my home I could return it for a refund I wasn't paying double for it (in a sense) so finally after speaking to a supervisor at first he seemed apprehensive but then he worked with me and I was able to pick up the part at my local store with no charge and the part did not arrive at my home which I asked for cuz I was picking the part up at the local store so everything worked out just fine S store

I want to make a purchase of 20 more than $20 like a $25 purchase so I can get my rewards credit well my service has changed on my phone number and I don't know which phone number I had to set up my account I've called several different store locations and also talk to the manager on 3rd Street chatt Tn. and they cannot help me whatsoever find what my account is and that's not nice because I'm going to lose on my points they won't look it up or you couldn't you look it up by my email or through my name and address or something like that y'all ask for all that information I just don't understand I think it ought to be updated to where you can find out your account information just cuz you can't remember your telephone number

10/8/20 1230 PM EDT. As I previously mentioned in a previous AutoZone feedback, I entered your store at Lake City FL and was very competently handled by "Adam." Adam accomplished in a few minutes what a half hour yesterday on your website SCREWED UP. Adam had NO computer record of my being on your website, no record of my order, NOTHING. The battery I ordered yesterday was NOT in stock at the Lake City store. So I have to drive another 40 miles roundtrip tomorrow to retrieve the battery that should have been ready today Your AutoZone website is WORTHLESS. No, your website is worse than worthless. And the AutoZone "upper management" is RESPONSIBLE for this debacle. Does the AutoZone front office upper management employ even ONE competent person? Since I expect the webmaster that reads this 4th complaint from me will just erase it to protect himself, I have copied this and the previous feedbacks and will MAIL them to William C. Store in san bernardino not complying with covid 19 protocol

Walked into autozone in san bernardino on baseline and mt Vernon. My concern is the store is not practicing social distance people walking in with no mask no direction no protocol shame on auto zone for not protecting their employees and customers. I will not shop there until they fix this.

Rebate SCAM

I purchased an item that they were offering mail in rebate. I filled all the paper work and submitted it. A few weeks later they said it was approved. Then I get nothing. I checked website and it says shipped 10/30 it is now 12/11 and nothing was ever received. It seems they post phony shipped dates to show they a sending rebate ,but they never send anything.

4 BAD alternators in less than 14 months. Ford dealer mechanic says vehicle is in pristine condition,electrically. "quote" Quit trying to save a buck with reman parts that cost a fortune to replace in labor(500 bucks) and buy a NEW part and be done with it!". (you cheapskate!)

Someone else posted here about autozone and i agree completely with every word it is a sales based company. I worked for advance auto parts before I came to autozone both companies are sales based. Ive learned that it doesn't matter if the customer gets the correct part or not as long as you sell a part and anything that goes with it wittdtjr. Personally I've been working on cars and trucks for 39 years but that doesn't matter to these stores. For instance the mindset is if a new employee comes to work not knowing what a sparkplug is it doesn't matter as long as they can sell parts. If the customer is sold the wrong part well that means that they will be back and that's an opportunity to sell them more...get it! Doesn't matter that the customer has wasted gas..time..and money. At the same time this employee is making less than someone at a fast food restaurant so do you think they really have the knowledge to do the job correctly. Again this doesn't matter as long as they are selling parts and yes it is a competition between stores. The store that has the best rewards card activations..the best wittdtjr scores..the best check out challenge scores usually get a pizza! Thats right! But the district manager..and the store manager get bonuses to their already outrageous salaries.BUT..if youre store doesn't do well in these competitions you may be looking for other employment..yes im serious. I know this for a fact. Just remember probably 98% of these stores employees have no idea how to work on their own vehicles let alone you're vehicle. Some employees like myself have the knowledge to correctly help a customer to diagnose a problem with the vehicle and get the correct part the first time. So the next time you go into a auto parts chain store try to bear with the employee attempting to help you and just remember...the majority of the employees at that particular store haven't got a clue as to what you need for your vehicle..on a side note most customers don't either! Yes i am very knowledgable about most any vehicle and i am seriously underpaid..underappreciated and am expected to do more but at the same time my district manager tells me that im not doing my job correctly because my stores scores are down sooo im not getting a pay raise. Even though our regular customers come in asking for me by name..come in the store on my off days and leave because I'm not there..call me to see if im there..its kinda sad and thats all i have to say. Think about it
