I purchased a power steering pump from auto zone because mine went bad.

I paid an ASE certified mechanic to install.

When I picked up my truck from the mechanic... the truck was still wining but not as bad. I questioned the mechanic about it & he said the sound should go away in a few days after driving & if not... I got a bad pump.I drove the truck about a week hoping the sound would do away but had no such luck.

I asked for the store manager at the auto zone on west tusc in canton Ohio & explained to him what happened & immediately he started blaming installation instead of just saying I recieved a bad part.

I had other things I was purchasing for another car I have & I told him to keep them. I went down the road & purchased them from a competitor.

I don't think auto zone is a good fit for our town.

Where did you buy the pump from?I can almost guarantee it was the same manufacturer.

A1 Cardone supplies AZ Oreilly and NAPA.He still shoulda just apologized and warrantied the pump though.
