Poor customer service

I called autozone Lockport IL to get a price for a battery. Said they had one $139.99. So I go there they ring me up and then present the battery. Wrong battery! Said H6 group was a H5 group. Only had duralast gold one in stock. $30.00 more. For my daughters car she has limited budget. So now the refund on the wrong battery will take 4-5 business days. So now we’re tying up almost $400.00 of her money on a $169.99 purchase. Guy in the store matter of factly says “ I don’t have anything to do with auto zones banking”! Not very nice or helpful. So either I now lend her money for the new battery or she waits 4-5 business days for her money back to purchase correct one! No car for 5 business days is not an option. I will never shop there again! I will post my experience on social media so others can beware! Steven James Phone 708825**** Homer Glen,IL

The employee / manager, came to work high, smoked a joint, I seen it in his eyes and how he was acting that day. Anyways the manager/ employee forgot to put the oil cap back on my daughter's car and he messed her car up. I power washed it, but the car is making noises that it never made before... I would like for something to be done..

Just replace my second Autozone Duralast battery after 11 months and 15 days. It failed to hold a charge. The first battery leaked after 15 months. What a mess that was. It cost me $65 due to the proration schedule. I thought Johnson Controls made Duralast. Now I find out it was Exide. Exide is known for a 30% failure rate under the warrantee. Very poor batteries. Duralast shows the same failure rate as Exide. Very very bad. Next time I will buy Delco of East Penn.

Purchased a battery back in Aug of 2018 down at the Grayson location, a durlast Gold. Well this year it died so i took it too tbe Winder GA location to have it charged and tested. Got it back Friday evening and told it was fine. Got it home put it in the vehicle and it was still dead. Took it back to the Winder location to have it tested again and I was told it only had one Amp of juice in it, and asked if i would like it charged?? I was speaking to Jason the store manager through the process and i said that is funny yall were supposed to charge it for me Thursday night. He then looked up the battery part number for my ranger and come to find out it was the wrong part number for the battery for my 97 ranger and asked how that happened. I felt at this point he was questioning my integrity of me changing batteries out and what not and he wrote me off at that point and told me i would have to go all the way down to Grayson which is an hour from my house and have them swap it out. My question is what would have happend if i moved out of State or what not, and what difference does it make the Autozone i visit??? So i drove all the way down to Grayson burning more gas and time to find out the store down there sold me an alternative battery because the one for my truck was not in stock at the time. So that is where the confusion of the part number came in to play. The store in Grayson made it right and swapped it out immediately. I only wish the store manager in Winder would have been more courteous about the situation, instead of questioning my integrity in front of other customers. This is not the first time i have had an issues with this location which is a huge problem considering this is the closest one to my house. The store manager at the Winder location had a chance to make a lasting impression to gain a loyal customer, instead he questioned my integrity and confirmed the last impression I had with this store poor customer service. I would like a district manager to reach out to me in regards to the matter to discuss

Auto Zone Motorcyle Battery Quality

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought a new Auto Zone Battery January of 2019. Battery lasted 6 mos . Battery went bad I took it back to store where I bought it . 90 day warranty ok. So I bought a new battery full price . The new battery lasted 1 month . I decided not to even try to deal with Auto Zone for another battery . I ate the cost approximately 80-90 dollars . I bought a new battery somewhere else 138.00 . I got stranded twice . It was an expensive lesson . Funny thing is battery will test good but not take a charge both batteries tested low after charging . I just tested my charging system all looks good . I will do some additional tests just in case . I have no problem with people who work for Auto Zone always helpful. I would blame this on upper management purchasing low quality stock in order to increase profit .

Horrid company full of crap service and lies.

The big red banner on the website: Need it fast? Free next day delivery!" What a joke. Ordered a flywheel on a Friday, said it would be delivered the next day by 12 noon. Here it is Sunday. I called customer service NUMEROUS times after noon Saturday and got no help. Sorry. Can't do anything. Should be delivered today, ect. Rep after 8pm said she'd call FedEx and call me back. No call back. Got an e-mail for a $10 gift card? Because that makes up for the lack of customer service, and them taking $70 and not delivering as promised? Lost customer. Lost as many other customers as I can notify about this and prior issues with that horrid company.

you should have realized it was the weekend and usps and many shipping companies are delayed on the weekend. next business day they should probably post and most places like banks aren't open on certain days.

and if you make a deposit on lets say--- sat. it won't post til monday night.

AutoZone - Unable to move forward

The attached receipt shows that I ordered two car mats that were "to be delivered to the store that afternoon or the next day at the latest." Needless to say, that was the first mistake. Tomorrow will be one week since I placed the order. Within that timeframe, I've called the store twice, the last one having spoken with either a humanoid or an otherwise uncaring individual.

Late last week I called your Customer Care line and I spoke with the regional manager for this area. A friendly and welcoming individual, he indicated that he would investigate the issue provide me with an answer as to what happened. When? He did not say. I suspect he could still be working on this as I sent him this same attached receipt and provided him with the details of my less than satisfactory service with the Weymouth, MA store.

I took your online survey for what that's worth. Having noticed this additional channel of customer feedback, I thought I'd try this as well. To say I'm not impressed with AutoZone would be an understatement. My expectations of generating a response through this channel are extremely low. Feel free to surprise and delight me.

Regards,

Karl

if you didn't get it when it was suggested then it was probably that there was a hang up on availability and was showing in the system. happens to me all the time or the computer got hung up.

my cell phone screws up all the time it wasn't autozones fault. just a simple glitch in the system

I dont see a delivery estimate on your receipt.
