Surefire Engines | AutoZone review from Scottsbluff, Nebraska

1.0
Details
We received the engine and had it installed by a local repair shop that is very good. They called to say that the engine leaked from every orifice. We communicated with Surefire, the repair shop pulled the engine and we returned it to Surefire and installed another one. Over a month later I received an email that there was nothing wrong with the motor and that the warranty claim would not be honored. I wish I would have read reviews prior to going with this motor. This is their standard operating procedure. Hindsight, I should have stayed local and should have checked reviews!

HR in Memphis can't even explain it, and even if they could, every region, district, and store manager interprets it differently. But here's the fun part-you get a point for calling in sick, but if you had just went to work, clocked in and worked for a few minutes, and then told your manager you were sick and need to go home, you would not have been assessed points! That's right, you get points for calling in sick, but not for leaving early sick!

Bad Duralast battery | AutoZone review from Norfolk, Virginia

1.0
Details
I put in a 24F duralast battery , dated 11/18 in December 2018. 1 month later if the car did not run for more than a day, the battery would drain to below 12. I put it on the charge several times up to 15 so I could run the car. About 20 times I had to jumpstart the car. No bad connections or issues whatsoever per mechanic and the alternator is just fine. AutoZone tells me that the battery is just OK and the problem is somewhere else. Frustrated, I switched to a Walmart battery and no issues. AVOID AUTOZONE.

Reward points | AutoZone review from Live Oak, Florida

3.8
Details
for years I have gone to auto zone for my parts, and when they came out with the reward points it felt like they wanted to reward loyal costomers. But twice now I have gotten my 5 points and did not need any more parts , and when I did , I was told my points had expired . If I don't need parts , how can I use my points. Well maybe my LOYALTY has just expired!!!! TIME to look at Advance Auto Parts.

They want you to come in and buy $25 worth of air freshners, candy bars, and whatever check out challenge item they have for that month. Its their way of getting you to spend money on stuff, even if you don't need it. Those rewards used to not have an expiration date.
